Amber co-directed MUSAS Peru, a sexual health organization in Peru that is working for the education and empowerment of adolescents, women and the LGBTI community. MUSAS Peru offers free workshops and videos on issues of sexuality, gender, and sexual health.
Amber loves PACT, an organization that works with adoptive families. She is a mentor and head counselor for adopted youth and teaches music and works on film projects at their summer camp.
Amber teaches music at the Fusion camp, where mixed race and transracially adopted youth come together to take pride in their identities.

Amber is a volunteer staff member and leads workshops on music, writing, and mindful creative expression at Spirit Rock Buddhist Teen Retreats.

Amber completed their three-month residency program in hatha yoga, Sanskrit, and Vedic philosophy in addition to leading their kirtan services.
