Amber is co-director of MUSAS Peru, a sexual health organization in Peru that is working for the education and empowerment of adolescents, women and the LGBTI community. MUSAS Peru offers free workshops and videos on issues of sexuality, gender, and sexual health (STIs, contraception, breast exams, etc.)

Amber supports the Vulvalution, or evolution of women's sexuality, and sacred Andean fair trade products that depict the vulva (jewelry, ceramics, books, clothes, and more!)

Amber loves PACT, an organization that works with adoptive families. She is a mentor for adopted youth and teaches music and works on film projects at their summer camp.

Amber teaches music at the Fusion camp, where mixed race and transracially adopted youth come together to take pride in their identities.

Amber completed her first film through a QWOCMAP (Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project) free 16-week video workshop. Go QWOCMAP!

Amber is a volunteer staff member and leads workshops on music, writing, and mindful creative expression at Maya and Spirit Rock Buddhist Teen Retreats.

Other organizations Amber supports include: Generation Five, ending child abuse in 5 generations; San Francisco Women Against Rape; Kearny Street Workshop, an Asian Pacific American arts organization, and Finca an organization that is devoted to village banking activities.

Amber completed their three-month residency program in hatha yoga, Sanskrit, and Vedic philosophy in addition to leading their kirtan services.
