Film Screenings
Amber's first short film "Jagadamba, Mother of the Universe" (2008, 10 min) is playing at film festivals around the world. It is a tender, inspiring story about her experiences as a queer transracial (Korean) adoptee who grew up in Korea, Nepal, Liberia, and the US. The film explores adoption, race, sexuality, and Amber's healing journey through music.

Contact her to organize a screening with q & a and/or a diversity workshop at your school or organization.

Testimonials
"I love the video book trailer Amber created for me. She took the time to listen to my needs and anxieties, coached me through the process of being interviewed for camera, suggested two creative "location" shoots that added emotional depth, and created a gorgeous mini-documentary that captures the spirit of my work in just four minutes. She even provided a score using her own beautiful music! The video has directly increased my ability to share my book with readers, event producers, booksellers, and the media. Her work is beautiful, tight, on time, responsive, and has been praised by many other authors and journalists who have told me it's one of the best they've seen." --Minal Hajratwala, author of "Leaving India: My Family's Journey from Five Villages to Five Continents"
"Amber Field brings technical skill, artistic ability and a great personality to her film projects. She made the daunting project of making a marketing video for my program both easy and exciting. During the shoot, Amber provided the cast and crew with directive, supportive guidance. And it happened so quickly! The whole process, from planning to editing, was extremely efficient. On a deadline, Amber created three versions of the video for me to take to a professional conference where all were impressed with the product." --Kat Wentworth, Executive Director, Project Prepare
